A little info...

Founded in late 2005 with no intention to record an album, La Coka Nostra was more a loose collective of artists connected through Danny Boy than a group. Having taken time off from rap after the break-up of House of Pain, Danny Boy took to working in video production and fashion as well as mentoring other artists. He met Slaine in Boston and, impressed with his writing, brought him to L.A. to record some tracks. Eventually it turned into more of a group effort including the former members of House of Pain and Ill Bill, as well as associates from Psycho Realm, Special Teamz and others. It was not until early 2006 that the current line up solidified, plans to release an album were first voiced later the same year.

In late 2008 the group signed to Suburban Noize Records and released the long delayed debut album A Brand You Can Trust on July 14, 2009. The album took so long to complete due to Danny Boy's refusal to have the members collaborate via e-mail; instead, he would gather everyone at the studio.This took time due to the recording of Ill Bill and Everlast's solo albums as well as various tours and other commitments. A Brand You Can Trust features 15 tracks and guest spots from Snoop Dogg, Bun B, Sick Jacken, B-Real, Sen Dog, Immortal Technique, Big Left and Q-Unique. Though similar stylistically to the group's prior online releases, it features songs grounded more in reality. Some subjects touched upon include politics, death, drug addiction, raising a child and terrorism. It has been stated by Slaine that the group is working on their second full length release and that it is set to come out sometime in 2012

Nocturnal Entertainment is hosting Bone Thugs n’ Harmony at the Clarke Theatre in Mission.Party Gras Party Bus will be providing transportation for the opening act and our Party Ambassadors will be down at the event. Bone Thugs-N-Harmony is an American Hip Hop group from the Glenville section of Cleveland, Ohio. They are best known for their fast-paced, aggressive rapping style and harmonizing vocals. The group was mainly produced by Los Angeles producer, DJ U-Neek. In 1997, the group was awarded the Grammy Award for Best Rap Performance with their song "Tha Crossroads" from their E 1999 Eternal album. Since its conception in 1993, the group has been honored with numerous other awards. Bone Thugs-n-Harmony also collaborated with Eazy-E, 2Pac, Big Pun, and The Notorious B.I.G. being the only artists to work with all of them while they were still alive. They are currently signed to their own label, BTNH Worldwide with a distribution link from Warner Bros. All of us here at Party Gras are extremely excited for this event as anything in the entertainment industry is close to our party lovin’ hearts! Last Friday night yeah we danced on table tops and we took too many shots! Party Gras Party bus had a blast hosting our Grey cup fans from all across this great Country on Friday night. We hit 3 of Vancouver’s hottest spots in style, Rollin’ up in our Chariots of fun to each stop! Our CFL fans started off at the Cove Pub on West 4th where the staff was friendly and definitely “on the ball”, Our glasses were never empty! Not to mention the amazing menu of classic pub food with a gourmet twist by Chef Mike Carter, our group couldn’t get enough of the good eats and tasty treats! After we had drained all the beer out of the Cove Pub we decided to hop back onto our rockin’ Party Buses to head out to the next stop. Red Card sports bar was eager to please as we were greeted by manager Grant Gormley and some of the best lookin’ servers in Vancouver. Shout out to DJ Tony Montana spinnin’ some tunes to keep the party pumpin’. Then our Party People piled back onto our Party bus where our ambassadors of fun kept them movin’ and groovin’ and swingin’ from our two dance poles. Finally it was Blarney stone time! Where Killarney was rockin’ out the stage and the crowd was lovin’ it! The drink specials and staff were amazing at the Blarney as always, special thanks to Manager Charlie for treating our group like rockstars for the entire night and giving our group a real taste of Vancouver night life. WE LOVE YOU BLARNEY STONE! Also thank-you to all of Party Gras friends who came down to the venues to hang out and say hey,especially Geoff Howard photography for snappin’ some great photos all night...can’t wait to see the evidence! See all of you NEXT Friday night when our buses are out and about ;)

UBC Dentistry Pub Crawl 2011!!

Party Gras Party Bus would like to announce another successful year with UBC dentistry's themed pub crawls!Our first bus was packed full of Motorcycle Hunks and Biker babes for the "It's better in leather" theme. UBC Dentistry truly brought 1980's fashion and flare back for a night rockin' tattoos, head to toe denim, and of course big hair complete with band t-shirts! Our other bus was full of some cool cats sporting a 1930's Gangster theme, Capone himself would have felt right at home with these goodfella's.We picked the group up at UBC Vancouver and got the music pumpin to start our wicked club crawl off right! We kicked off the night at The Bourbon downtown for some drinks and of course BULL RIDING!!Party Gras Party bus always gets rowdy at the Bourbon! We had a blast and a few of our UBC troops were able to tame the bull. Second stop on the tour was Shine night club for their Party and bullshit Friday's with Caribou Beers to wet your whistle! Our last but not least stop was at one of Party Gras' favorite bars, The Blarney Stone in beautiful Gastown. Blarney stone NEVER disappoints as there was an awesome live band, great drink specials, and a wicked atmosphere all night! The UBC Dentistry group really knows how to party as there was never a dull moment on the bus!Like we always say we'll leave the drinking to you if you leave the driving to us! How this might change your party plans

Well NYE is over and most of you have recovered, even though some of you have just kept of partying. Well here is an update for what Party Gras has in store for the Vancouver Party Bus industry. We understand movement during the Olympics is going to be next to impossible, whole areas surrounding venues like Gossip Nightclub or the Granville strip will be shut down. This is not to say we can't get you close to where you want to be, this just means there will be no door to door service. So girls when your getting ready ask your self, can I walk three blocks in the rain in these shoes or would another pair be a better choice.

British Columbia is a large province but everyone focuses on Vancouver as the big city and when you want to party, you go down town but that doesn't have to be true. Now granted if you live in the GVRD the 2010 Olympics has expanded calibrations all around the Lower mainland and Fraser valley I'm sure you have noticed the signs letting you know there are free concerts all around town at designated Olympic venues.

Well back to the real discussion, locations to go clubbing for the next two months we can focus on other clubs in other areas, New Westminster Surrey, Langley, Pitt meadows these areas all have clubs that would be more than willing to host your party.

Club Crawls don't have to be down town, we can use our buses to shuttle you between clubs from New West to Surrey just as well as in the down town core.

Well another year has pasted and it's time for the University students to organize their annual events.

Party Gras is proud to be hosting such an awesome group for the 4th year in a row. Now that's something to be excited about in the Vancouver Party Bus industry.

Tonight September 25 2009 Party Gras will be escorting the UBC Dentistry club crawl to three different clubs in Vancouver. We will be picking up our group at the UBC Dentistry building 2151 Wesbrook Mall UBC at 7:30 sharp. We will be the heading downtown to start our night at Cellar Night Club on Granville St where they have opened their doors early so we can start our party right. We will be then heading over to our old friends at Tonic where we will rev this party up with resident DJ JOHNNY OMEGA and guests. I am sure this will be a packed house tonight don't worry people we still have one spot left to visit so you will get your chance to dance with Johnny Omega. Well 12:30 rolls around quick but it's time for the Party Bus to move so a quick load up and we are off dancing all the way to the next club. Here we are last but not least Tunnel on Pender for a little Bread and Butter. I'm sure hope they are ready for us we will be unloading like a Hurricane ready to rip it up.

I would personally thank all the clubs involved for stepping up and promoting a good time. As some of you may know it's becoming harder every year to arrange these types of events due to the over bearing Door policy of some venues.

September 12 2009 is the 13th Annual Langley Good times Cruise In. If you love cars and your not here you better have a good hell of a excuse. Think of this as Summers last blow out, just before the weather goes to mush for the next 9 months.

Some of Langley’s biggest events take place this weekend.

The Langley Good Times Cruise-In rolls into town on Friday night, starting with a parade of classic cars through downtown and parts of Langley Township to take in an exclusive movie at the Twilight Drive-in in Aldergrove.

Saturday is the big day, with hundreds of the shiniest, souped up hot rods and classics roaring into position on Fraser Highway, Douglas Park and other spots in the City. Hundreds of thousands of people are expected to take in the live entertainment and many other events.

The party is also on at the Langley Events Centre. Tonight (Friday), Canadian country superstar Paul Brandt plays. On Saturday, the Langley Chiefs have their home opener and on Sunday, an open house celebrates the great facility.

Visitors will meet a Canadian athlete vying for a spot at the 2010 Olympics, shoot hoops with TWU’s Lady Spartans, perfect your slapshot against Langley Chiefs, take a tumble in the Langley Gymnastics Foundation and enjoy a barbecue lunch, live music and kids’ fun zone.
